With the continuous development and utilisation of phosphorus ore resources, rich phosphorus ore and easy to select phosphorus ore resources are decreasing, the low-grade phosphorus ore, especially low-grade difficult to select the gum phosphorus ore beneficiation process technology research has been imminent.
At present, the phosphorus ore beneficiation process is mainly flotation, scrubbing desliming process, gravity separation, roasting a digestion method, chemical leaching technology, photoelectric beneficiation and joint beneficiation process.
Flotation has been regarded as the most effective method in phosphate ore dressing. Phosphorus ore flotation method includes direct flotation, reverse flotation, positive and negative flotation, anyway flotation and double reverse flotation process.
This technology is mainly used for weathering type or phosphorus ore containing much mud. In Yunnan Dianchi area phosphorus ore and other areas of the surface weathering phosphorus ore can be used in this technology, and can obtain good economic benefits. This technology is the phosphorus ore for scrubbing, removing sludge, and then screening and grading. ‘Scrubbing desliming’ is a physical beneficiation method, its process is simple, can be open production, and does not consume chemicals, so the environment will not cause pollution.
Heavy media sorting is a phosphorus ore re-election technology. Chemical leaching is a beneficiation method that applies chemical methods to reduce the impurity content and improve the purity of useful minerals. This method is mainly applicable to calcium phosphate ore with low carbonate content and very fine embedded particle size and separation of impurities in the flotation concentrate. The leaching agent can be ferric chloride, sulfuric acid or sulfur dioxide, etc., of which sulfuric acid is commonly used.
